Born on May 11th
1959 in Greenwich Ct. to Clifford and Lily Wildey, the fourth of seven
children, I received my first instrument at age 6, an empty Charles Chips
tin. Mom
and Dad surprised me on my 7th birthday with a real drum, a
snare with an attached cymbal. This gift also included 2 free drum
lessons at the local music store, I was off and running. I
played drums through out my youth and into high school. Several bands
later a friend of mine needed a rhythm
guitar player to jam with so I picked up the acoustic guitar. The year was 1976. I was intrigued by the guitar
and its ability to create melody AND rhythm. |
